Business Sponsors

Dear Potential Sponsor,

These are unprecidented times and the Arts are hard hit with the closing of performance venues along with the struggle to safely produce an event. We’ve all experienced the cancellations and the attemps at postponing our favorite arts events.

The conflict is the knowledge that the Arts and the creativity that inspires it is what keeps us sane in a world of unknowns and yet the industry is barely staying afloat during this global pandemic. Our artists are hurting. While some can create, they cannot share their art, a vital part of the artist processes.

More than ever the Arts are needed to be a beacon of hope and peace, an outlet for our worries and sadness, and safe haven of creativity.

The arts are vital to our humanity.

We hope that you will join us as we provide Arts opportunities to our school district and the communities it serves.

On behalf of the Kaneland Arts Initiative and the more than 5,000 community members served by the Festival annually since 1998, you are invited, in partnership with Kaneland Community Unit School District No. 302 to support the Kaneland Arts Initiative (KAI), formerly the Kaneland Community Fine Arts Festival (KCFAF).  The mission of KAI is to encourage young people’s involvement in artistic endeavors and to challenge them to develop their abilities. The Kaneland Arts Initiative provides Arts Opportunities throughout the year to meet this mission.

The Kaneland Community Fine Arts Festival is the founding and signature event of the Kaneland Arts Initiative.  The Festival involves approximately 30 professional, contracted artists from the Chicagoland area representing multiple artistic disciplines. Annually attendance is  2,500 - 3,000 people.  This unique event is one of the only festivals in Illinois supported by a school district to present professional artists free of charge to festival attendees.  The Festival features both professional visual and performing artists as well as student artwork from all of the schools within the district.  KAI is pleased to continue the artist in residency program which will provide students with yearlong creating with an end project that will be revealed at the Festival.

The KAI Theatre Series features additional events in celebration of the performing arts throughout the year. Annually, KAI brings full length quality theatre performances to the Kaneland Auditorium and Black Box performances spaces at a fraction of the cost of a ticket to theatre elsewhere in Chicago or nearby Western Suburbs.  Besides the Festival in April, performances are held the throughout the school year with anticipated attendance to be 2,000 people.  All this community arts excitement adds up to multiple opportunities for premium sponsor visibility.

KAI is also looking forward to awarding the annual Theresa Funke Memorial Fine Arts Scholarship and the annual Artfully Passionate Diane McFarlin Scholarship. A portion of your donation (10%) can be donated to this fund.
