Calling all Choreographers!

The Kaneland Arts Initiative is seeking to fill the position of choreographer for the 2014 Kaneland Community Summer Theatre production of Once Upon a Mattress.  Annually, the Kaneland Arts Initiative produces a musical which draws amateur actors locally to perform on the stage of the Kaneland Auditorium.  Past productions have been Music Man, Bye Bye Birdie, Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Actors pay a nominal tuition to participate and shows run for two weekends in July.

The choreographer would be working with actors of all ages and abilities and would need to attend auditions in May, rehearsals from May until July, and the productions on July 11 – 13 and 18 – 20.
