Audition Call for the Laramie Project

We are pleased to announce auditions for our winter theatre performances due for production January 24,25,26, 2014: The Laramie Project.
The Laramie Project is based on the interviews of citizens of Laramie, Wyoming after the murder of Matthew Shepherd took place in 1998.
Matthew was targeted and murdered because he was gay.  The monologues created are the actual words of citizens of Laramie as well as those of members of the Tectonic Theatre Company who conducted the interviews and coordinated the project.
Auditions will be held at Kaneland High School in the Black Box Theatre (off the fine arts hallway – enter through door 32, formerly the F7 door) on Tuesday, November 19 from 6:30-9:00 pm.  You may come any time during that period of time; whatever suits your schedule.   Auditions will include cold readings from the script.
If you have any questions, please contact me via email (diane.mcfarlin@kaneland.org) or via the contact form below.
I am looking forward to a most interesting and creative venture.  Hope to see you on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
Creatively yours,
Diane McFarlin
Artistic Director – The Laramie Project
